@cassikat - Apparently Lissa loved the Book of Practical Cats. She didn't have Weirdmageddon magic to teach her English so I guess that was probably one of the first books she read after she was brought back to Earth. It kind of is a perfect book to read to your tiny half-human/half-feline daughter...

I've never really been interested in Cats before but I read some wiki pages and it looks cool!

Slytherins have a thing about loyalty though. It goes bone deep. It's why I'm not a Ravenclaw or a Gryff despite many traits that would suit me for those. Your own people are the most important. Slytherins can be detached from their families, but it's because of a deep betrayal somewhere. It doesn't happen casually.

I mean your characters can go in any house you want, I'm not trying to tell you what to do! But it confuses me. Dualscar is loyal to the Empire, but...you play him as having no relationship with the court (which is fine) so it's not that personal.

But I'm totes with you on the Pyropes being Gryffs.

 

I have nearly all the Pines subs and FL has almost all the Cronus subs, so it's not like there's no precedent.

 

Slytherins also have a very big deal about ambition though, and by god if the Amporas aren't some of the most ambitious fucks out there. Any universe where highblood = old pureblood families is going to end up with a lot of Ampora Slytherins too, because loyalty to the ~*~family legacy~*~ seems to be a pretty heavy determining factor (along with being able to tell the hat "pls god let me be in this house or at least any house but that one".)

Though I could see an Eridan that's from an AU where his family isn't pureblood going Gryffindor pretty easily, especially if he's convinced on the train that it's the most prestigious and desirable house out of the four. He's got that particular brand of vainglory.
