We Citizens have something like that. Most species cannot pronounce our birth names, so we have to take names from those species in order to facilitate interaction with them. *he makes a terrible sound* is the one most species cannot pronounce.

My chosen name is Nessus, after the centaur from Greek mythology. Human mythology is where most of these names have came from, these past centuries. And with good reason! There's just something about it, you know...

But we do not have third names. Maybe that's because we haven't spent enough time thinking about them.

 

Or I could take another stab at organic physiology. For science, of course. Wiretap can always use more data.

Human lore does have awfully good choices, doesn't it? My second name, in fact, was inspired by something a human made, although I like to think I'm a touch less malevolent than the character who gave me the idea.

I can sympathize. The mythological Nessus is an unsavoury character, and I wouldn't like to be too much like him. But the name has a nice sound to it, and it... *blushes*... goes well with Nike's.
