I'm not entirely sure I understand the message, but I think I need to learn what it is. Does anyone think they have a clear understanding of it?

From a while back, but She doesn't, really. She's closer to Ruby's colours, and she's got Ruby's hair and cute little nose, but other than that she's all Sapphire. She's got Sapphire's build, the narrow torso that widens out below the waist, Sapphire's shoulder-poofs, Sapphire's long slender arms. Her most prominant facial feature is Sapphire's mouth, and she covers her eyes like Sapphire does. And she shows Ruby's personality just as much as Sapphire's. "I thought... violence... would be the answer."
There were a lot of layers in the message, and it was all pretty subtle. Like part of it was that dropping a group activity without any warning can lead to a lot of distress and confusion for the other people in the group. Like it was okay that Amethyst was done with wrestling, but she didn't tell Steven and just sort of left him floundering with the fallout. And that was resolved when they talked about their feelings and came up with an exit together. Also in there is the idea that doing something together is meaningful. Steven liked wrestling because it meant he could spend time with Amethyst, and so he was sad when Amethyst didn't seem to care anymore. To him, it was never really about the specific act of wrestling. Now that Amethyst realizes how important having "our thing" is to Steven, hopefully they'll find something new to be their thing. Also seconding what evilas and Karrin said with regards to trying to please others.

I wouldn't call it 100% filler, since it does show some character development, but it is probably skippable if need be.
