Interjecting here -- Words are a tool. Languages -- and nearly everyone here speaks a different language with some sort of unidentified translation mechanism doing a lot of legwork, I've heard untranslated words before, so there's that, too -- are different based on cultural context, what is important, what is irrelevant, what is unknown. Based on this alone, words as a tool cannot be perfect. Additionally, perfect is the enemy of good.
Where good words suffice to get things done, pedantry will hamper progress. Do you get what I'm going for?
