Ah. My apologies-- my experience with mechs who are capable of sharing an alt is limited to gestalt teams, and they differentiate between their linked root mode and their linked alt.

-nods- I don´t build frames much, mostly I build [eggs] We fix the blueprints to build, so they change from the ones made by the standards! And no everyone bothers to learn standard talk!

I heard there were some with sparks from the Ground, but I´ve never seen one.

 

I've heard people say some awful things about the generational swarms. I suppose it is likely that the more a swarm is self-sufficient and established the less they prioritize appearing... acceptable to Standardformers. After all why perform to the expectations and standards of someone you do not need to work with for resources.

Insecticons-- the officially-created ones at least, frag only knows where they get the sparks they claim their deity gives them-- are entirely cold-constructed. The first swarm was an experiment by... the head scientist who will remain unnamed lest I start another screaming fit, and when that proved successful several more were made as MTOs.

 

Well, I think they're all lovely! Although it'd be lovelier if people would treat them like people.

I'm from a hot spot, I don't know why Cybertron's stopped so long ago.
