I'm just saying. [She rears up a little to boop the nearest unoccupied hand.] Only having two researchers leads to a lack of self-correction with terminology. Just because it works for us doesn't mean it's universally applicable.

Ah, but a net still has wire between the holes! No, something that has absolutely no matter to it, but still exudes the essence of tunnels. A paradox ball!

    -big eyes- That sounds FUN!

Organic internals are more likely to adhere to other surfaces; their outer layer, be it skin or fur or scales or what have you, is built to protect them like plating protects us, but organs can be soft and malleable and gel-like!

-the hand she booped boops her hand back, and Quintus flows back right way up and drifts down to more her level-
You're suggesting I use too much jargon!!! I see how it is!!!
-he doesn't seem genuinely upset at all-

  7. Onyx Prime

Onyx Prime The passage of time is highly problematic

It is quite fun to think about!

But my powers rely on seeing the true path, the direction that things should move. So timeplaces where things "should" move in every possible direction are very disorienting!

[Fondly:] I'm suggesting our jargon doesn't match other universes' jargons, silly squid.

  8. Quintus Prime

-he floats far enough down that he can dangle his various froofy bits around her in an annoying manner-
The answer to that is of course to develop a dictionary for me so I can make them match better!!!

[The solution is to stretch her wings out so they get hopelessly tangled in the tendrils. Obviously.] I'm not writing a dictionary, I'm behind enough on my own duties as it is. Write your own dictionary.

-he dangles the other notebook. It contains a completely different list of words- I am writing two!!!!

[She laughs, bopping her nose against the nearer notebook just to be a brat.] Good for you, then! I should have known better, you always have a project or twelve going.

I can't smell a single motherfucking thing, my guy.
    o_o
I'm gonna give it a miss anyways, it's not like there's fucking deer in SanFran anyhow. It's the goddamn DOGS you have to worry about here.
    >_>

Though mostly I just shoot people when it's necessary?
    ?_?

    WHATEVER.
    >_<
    [He waves a hand dismissively.]

Kids are just SOOOOO fragile like, you drop 'em and they break things! It sucks! I don't like little animals either, they just break WAY too easily. At least if I push an adult over, they can probably avoid a concussion!
    @_@

I mean, even if they can't I won't feel guilty about it. But people get ON YOU if you fucking look at kids funny.
    >_<

Yes, if you crush internals bad things happen. Even for us, though it's significantly more difficult to crush a T-cog than a liver.

[Oh no, she has been becatted! Onyx holds very still, trying not to disturb the kitten.] Coming here doesn't make the Team any more or less of a protosingularity. You can come here as much as you like, little brother.

    Impressive!

"I'm not a linguist either, I've barely been to school--I just know what linguistics is." Lissa shrugs. "I mean technically I was educated on Beijada Station, but it was all cult propaganda. I read a lot, and my husband's an excellent teacher."
