starting here, the topic crossed over from being a joke about feline grooming habits to being a sexual conversation about cat dicks, which progressively increased in details and expanding to include the topics of piercing sex and sex with demons. i'll grant that i remembered the wikipedia entry as being unspoilered too, which strenghtned my discomfort, and while the spoiler doesn't signify that this entry was nsfw, i did misremember this fact. however, this nearly went on for two pages before kankri interrupted the conversation, and likely would have continued too if not for the intervention.

mara is mostly intended to be a walking innuendo, a cartoonishly evil parody of the hentai genre. i've personally considered mara as a whole to be more of a pg-13 thing as a result. and although i joke about mara being a dick, in the game series he is treated as more of a Very Phallic Demon than an actual penis, but i could understand why others might not agree with me on the icon, and would be willing to change it to a zoom-on of the mouth or something any sort of consensus about the icon is reached.

I think you're being a huge asshole, too, but I'm not sure that has much to do with my actual point. You play characters who are cruel and violent and defend doing so but you're offended by cat penis, and that's why I think you are more offended by sexual content than violence.

I consider dead dove content to be automatically 18+ and I don't like 99.99999% of dead dove content. That's why I don't RP on Bottom Serket.

Actually I find it hard to follow your line of argumentation until you identify which rating system would not consider gratuitous violence and graphic depictions of torture deserving of a rating of 18+.
I offered one upthread. It explicitly refers to violence AND sexuality AND disturbing themes as different facets which may increase a piece's rating.
NSFW is a nigh meaningless umbrella term, 18+ is a comment on a rating system which you have not identified and "dead dove" is, of all the terms you referenced, the one description that can ONLY refer to spoilered posts, considering the definition is "this contains exactly what the label says it does so if it upsets you that's on you".
I find it really hard to engage with your arguments when I can't understand what scale you are using most of the time.
