Frisk from Undertale had SAVE on the surface, and the general surface response to people having SAVE varies between 'huh...a time traveller' to 'dying doesn't bother them at all' to 'the only way you can teach them not to do things is to kill them if they do them'. Frisk died a lot on the surface after discovering they had SAVE.
If Veil had lived, he wouldn't have repented; Bryony was so desperate for his approval he would have warped her into becoming his partner in crime and they would have become adorable mother-son murderbuddies.
Reminds me of another one of my terrible RH ones: the more times a time traveler goes through events, the more resonance they have on other timelines. Because of this, the more times you try to save someone from something horrible happening to them, the more those events are imprinted on their subconscious once you do. Depending on what happened, this can cause phobias, nightmares, strong emotional reactions that don't make sense, or PTSD-like symptoms. Spoiler Stocke has this bad, and ends up causing a lesser case of it in Rosch and a pretty severe one in Kiel.
A lot more than just eight humans fell down Mt Ebott, but only the ones with sufficient DT to SAVE actually survived. Toriel has cleaned splashed human off the flowers at least ten times. Human souls don't last for very long after death without some form of magical reinforcing, although usually it lasts for several minutes if you've got enough DT to SAVE or to survive hitting the ground at terminal velocity. As such, the humans who died in the fall had their souls dissipate before they could be gathered up and saved for barrier-breaking. Frisk has an unusually weak soul.
"Dolorosa" means "sorrowful". Before the Sufferer's execution, that wasn't her title; it was Trollmom.
All living boss monsters are a, related within five generations (Toriel and Asgore are the least related boss monster pair currently possible) and b, somewhat inbred. All the Dreemurrs have a recessive mutation that makes their fur shed at all times of the year, not just in shedding season, as well as making it brittler than normal and so more likely to break off. Asriel is also polled. No horns for him.
Part of the hidden text in SCP-231's entry is a Bible reference, to the verse which goes "Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do". Does this imply that Procedure 110-Montauk isn't worth it or is hindering something good, or is going to make matters much much worse?
Spoiler: csa Frisk is a sexual abuse survivor. That's why they keep having flirt options; it's one of the only ways to get adults to pay attention to them. They were very surprised and relieved after entering Papyrus's bedroom and realizing that "what people do when they date" was going to be something very different than they expected. They ran away from Toriel because they thought that she would inevitably abuse them and they wanted to keep the happy memories with her unsullied.
I already mentioned on the sexcanons thread I can't avoid reading Folgrim as a necrophiliac since I found out real otters are prone to that. Wrong type of otter (sea otter versus European river otter) but close enough and he does canonically both talk to and eat corpses and he's messed-up enough to do it. When I was about twelve, I also became very disturbed over what the hell Saltar and Leddar did to Mariel; the searats do keep on calling her pretty, and they did something that was so awful she couldn't say what it was without having a panic attack. Context from the previous sentence shows it was probably them throwing the captured crew overboard, and I'm fairly sure now that she would have become Gullwhacker much sooner if they tried raping her, since her battle rage was set off by less later. Still unnerving, especially since Mr Jacques didn't usually skimp on death details so if it was them killing the crew that upset her so much it was weird that she cut off before saying so.
Dr Agatha Rights' interactions with a few of the SCPs heavily imply either she never had a child but wanted one, or did and lost it. She was the one who fed 089 before the disaster happened, without days of persuasion, because it would have happened near an SCP base.
682 is hinted in at least one Foundation Tale ("Rota" in the Project Thaumiel page) to be female. Certain types of reptiles are known for parthenogenesis. Think about this.
The things seen with SCP-178 are assumed to be the ones slashing people (in the non-fandom sense) who try to talk to them. However, the victims are always slashed with a set of three blade-like items of variable size. The upper limbs of the beings seen through the specs are noted by those who've seen them to end in "conical protrusions", not blade-shaped ones. Now, they might have retractable claws, but it's also possible they're not the ones doing the slashing. One time someone tries to interact with them from another room and they start banging on the partition. Were they trying to get to him to slice him, or to stop whatever else was doing so?
Ivan Braginsky didn't rape the other Eastern Bloc members, but he had a way of always seeming as if he was about to. He also genuinely thought the many, many violent things he did do were helping them.
Mellus assumed Blaggut was going to try to molest the kids because she couldn't think of any other reason for a rough-looking single male searat to hang around with small children. She almost broke into the rats' room upon hearing noises implying something bad was going on before realising Blaggut and Slipp were alone in there and the sobbing was Blaggut's.
Spoiler: cw: rape/dubcon, slavery Due to Peridot's comment about there being hundreds of Pearls rather than the more expected-from-a-galactic-empire thousands or millions, I think that Pearls are basically the equivalent of extremely expensive designer handbags--most Gems don't have one and will never be able to get one, and they're not super common, but they're still not considered real Gems, and are often treated horrendously by their owners. In particular, it's extremely common for Pearls on Homeworld to be used as, for lack of a better term, personal sex slaves (it's not considered their primary purpose, but the majority of Pearl owners consider it, well, a nice feature). Sadly, even otherwise-decent Pearl owners have been known to--to put it bluntly--rape their Pearls, simply because they genuinely don't get that they're real Gems with actual feelings and thoughts. Our Pearl did originally belong to Pink Diamond, but was essentially kidnapped by Rose after Pink Diamond was shattered. Pearl couldn't even bring herself to mind--Pink Diamond had not treated her well, and she was just glad to be comparatively free. However, it took quite some time for Rose to grasp that Pearl was capable of complex thought and genuine feelings, and there was some pretty fucked up stuff between them. Pearl didn't quite parse it as fucked up, however; it was still a huge improvement over her life with Pink, and that was enough for her. (She still doesn't entirely grasp the concept of being genuinely free.)
Wendigo Canada is a popular APH headcanon/AU/whatever. It occurred to me that if he is, it's possible those around him are intentionally being mean to him and hindering bonding with him, even though he can't permanently harm them; in magical terms, a metaphor is as good as a fact, and the way to kill a wendigo is to "melt its frozen heart". I absolutely have to use that for some origfic too.
There seems to be something creepy going on in The Looney Tunes Show, given that all the background characters are human. Is there any non-disturbing reason for the protags to be apparently the only few of their respective species?
maybe there's mostly-human countries and mostly-talking-animal countries and they're in a mostly-human country for some reason?
I keep wondering if the traumatised escaped slave in Mattimeo is supposed to be a Pink Floyd shoutout. “Run, rabbit, run, dig that hole, forget the sun. When at last the work is done, don’t sit down, it’s time to dig another one.”
