Lots of different species, and all problems that come with that. Mostly functioning government, mostly functioning law. No one's lesser than anyone else just because of what they were created or born as.
Politically, four big factions, about a dozen that might make it big in the next decade or two, and too many small ones to count. We currently have Transformer, Kalea mech-organic hybrids, Nyeluni organics, and Kyrien elementals representation among the big faction heads.
Looks-wise it's... difficult to describe. It grew.
(Apostasia summons a memory of an aerial view of the city. There's dozens of layers, thousands of different architectural styles, tons of different species. The core might've been planned at some point. The rest, not so much).
Citizens get housing, a monthly stipend from which they can procure necessities, and free access to education, and are in turn required to adhere to the law, and, if they acquire employment, pay taxes.
