shitposting rave 5: discount rejects from every genre

-yessssssss. this is what we're talking about. he pushes himself into the scratches happily. a pleased strill he hops up onto the couch and curls up like a cat. There Will Be More Pets. he will wait here patiently. and probably whine about it. but There Will Be More.-

 

Jame rejoins the others. "So sorry about that!" She pauses for a moment. "I probably stink, don't I?"

 

"I wanted you to sit with us." Lissa pouts.

 

-amazingly. he actually stays put-

 

"She is sitting with us." Ford hands Jame a bottle of hand sanitiser and a bunch of wipes without comment.

 

"Wait a moment," Jame says. She quickly strips off her stinky clothes, tosses them in the direction of other-Jorin, and then summons several buckets of water to tip over herself.

"Now for some clean clothes …"

 

-he hops off the couch and steals the clothes. he then throws them up there and creates a nest with them. he curls up contentedly in JAME SMELL-

 

"I feel like maybe I shouldn't look," Ford says, "but you don't seem to be shy, after all, do you?" He grins at Jame.

 

"You are so stoned." Lissa breathes out in relief. "Also adorable."

 

"Not much to look at anyway," she says. "But I should probably wear something. It seems to bother people."

She summons a robe and slips it on; thin fabric, would cling to her shape if she had one.

 

Lissa shrugs. "Doesn't bother us. But then we had a sign over the door between our suite and the rest of the house for a while that said 'Did You Remember To Dress?' in both Talassani and English. The rest of the household objected."

 

[karkat has summoned a gas mask and is sitting with both middle fingers engaged. he will not be bested by a demon pet! no sir]

 

"I didn't exactly have a normal childhood," Jame says, and sits down next to Lissa again. "Though my bare face bothers more, back where I come from."

 

"Your face?" Lissa blinks. "You're not half-human, you're something else entirely, because nobody veils on the Motherworlds except to keep sand off their faces."

Jame shrugs. "Kencyr Highborn women are supposed to be masked in public. I don't."

 

"What's the reason for that?" It's probably rude...but one of the characteristic traits of being a Ford--even a cynical one--is curiosity.

 

...they aren't very fun timelines to live in...speaking from experience...

 

"Women tempt men into betraying their honor, apparently. Or, how the Kencyr resolved being betrayed from the inside. It was those WOMEN." Jame's expression says what she thinks of that.
