the undertale fandom likes sans a lot, has made many au sanses, has given most of the sanses more than one nickname, and given the same nickname(s) to multiple sanses. and now we are all confused.

 

Should we make an undertale aus thread? Theres so many that id rather not swamp the main canon thread or keep making headcanon thread off topic forever and its a really interesting subject.

 

Also, less a headcanon and more a statement of fact: making au sanses is totally the modern day version of sonic the hedgehog ocs

Sans is the lorax's skeleton, papyrus is the onceler. They dont remember their previous lives.

i have this odd headcanon about frisk's magic
short version: they are really, really good at putting in lots of high-frequency magic into spells that don't change much. that's it. that's what they can do.
they use it to make magic telescopes.
chara, meanwhile, is good at things like illusions and controlled induced hallucinations and so the two team up some nights to show everyone else what frisk's absurdly overpowered imaging spell can see in the night sky

imagine the monster family all sitting out on a hillside in the middle of the night, frisk wreathed in rainbow flickers of magic, while chara projects the output of frisk's magic hyperzoom camera spell just below the level of the 'lens'
everyone is snuggling except for the people who don't want to snuggle

sometimes frisk tries space-themed flirting or pickup lines. 90% of the time it is entirely for the humor value.
sometimes other people join in.
that last line, by the way, is both "other people join in the hillside stargazing" and "other people join in sharing humourous pick-up lines"
