I was considering making a Bartimaeus sub, but Queezle's (lack of) characterization is helpfully amorphous enough to get around the "oh no playing canon character wrong" anxiety bees :P

and that's (part of) why i didn't create a bartimaeus in response. :P the same anxiety bees!

 

Billy and Lindi btw come from the same, original universe, which has many elements stolen from the bartimaeus books but is not exactly the same. hence the current confusion. xP

At this point Koios is basically a demon with a fully functioning soul. He doesn't quite realize it, what he does know is that he never felt anything like 'sorrow' or 'regret' before and now he does. He kinda hates it but it's worth the experience. He also never really found humans to be anything but a possible meal before, now he likes humans. (His type of demon isn't actually intended to come out of hell that often, and if they do they're usually only out to be used as attack dogs, or however you might use a normal salamander.)

Edit: not that he is a normal salamander. He can't directly control fire, he controls gems and can create them. His magic is completely gem / crystal based, though if he focuses he can control magma since it's close enough to stone / gems. He doesn't do that often, instead he prefers to control molten glass. Since, you know, crystaline.

 

Two millennia, huh.

Ask any of your Transformers to comment on this timing issue. I'm waiting :p

 

That makes sense and is kind of what Ford (d64) figured out. Both of them know a lot about demons after all....

 

i mean yes, but he wasn't supposed to get fond of his humans in the first place, it's all kinds of "okay if you somehow get into this situation at all you better get over your moping asap and stop being touchy about it", in the opinion of... several people at least but probably mostly Grimm.

 

I´m very sorry Dave, you caught starscream in the worst moment.

He´s majorly pissed off and also rather triggered atm because Slipstream had to bring his abuse history into it.

 

For the non TF folks: In a nutshell, it´s pretty canon across several continuities that Starscreams relationship to Megatron, his boss, was physically and emotionally abusive. Canon doesn´t say if it was anything but a Boss/Subordinate relationship otherwise, but fanon often makes it a romantic or at least sexual relationship.
