I actually have no idea how most of discord works bc I'm v new at it, but to get on the stitch and bitch server, click this link. the chat is always open, and I'm going to put up new voice channels for each craft that we have teachers for as we go. I'm starting the thing at 7 pm central time, unless anyone wants to start sooner
I've been cross stitching for... Geez, over 10 years? I'd love to do lessons, but Idk if I'm going to be available reliably. (Also that's a bit of supplies that people are going to have to get... Fabric, thread, needles, and possibly patterns? I have books and books of patterns that I don't mind using tho...) Hmm there's Google+, Facebook, and tinychat that I know of? Never used Facebook's though (and I understand not wanting to link Facebook and kintsugi)
it's fine if you can't make it every week, and if you want to do lessons just schedule them w anyone else who's interested (like me, but if you don't want to that's perfectly fine) for when you can be there, and if things happen then they happen. I don't want this to be a thing that stresses anyone out and ty! I will look into those (except facebook bc I lost my password to my account the day my dad signed up and I've never looked back)
I would also like those because while I couldnt possibly do this shawl yet, if I wanna try in a few years those #'s will probably be hella helpful
@keltka and @DylanKat stitch counts have now been transcribed to the project notes on Ravelry (which should also now be publicly visible and not require a login :/). Sorry it took me so long to get around to copying them from my notebook!
AAAA THANK YOU SO MUCH and no worries ^ ^ groans I might start keeping stitch counts for literally all the rows because I've had to restart like three times by now.... I'm not using the noro yarn anymore it just, did not work at all (wait did I mention that?)
