i always feel so embarrassed when that works. like, "oh, i called you over to help me with this and i don't need help after all. omfg i must be really annoying, calling you over for nothing."
It's funny because I'm usually the person who's being called over and the person says "oh it's fixed now" I can say that usually we don't care, we're just happy that it's fixed
Not really a feature, but could the announcements get dates put in them so we can tell when "today" is/was?
An interesting strangeness: the new post ratings do not go into the Recent Activity history. The old Likes did, and they still do when used on profile/status updates, as do postings. But the post ratings do not.
Huh. In theory the like rating in particular should be getting fed back, but maybe not? Or it could be that was a toggle and I toggled it for some reason.
I am getting Agree, Useful, and Informative notifications in addition to Likes, though not more than one if multiple people rate it that way. I don't know that I've actually had Winner or Witnessed ratings since the change. Edit: I also get notifications on at least the first Witnessed rating on a post. Edit: Also on the first Winner rating.
I get the notification for any of the ratings, but only once per rating type until I look at the post that was rated. Then the next time it gets rated I get a new notification. Edit - I don't have to look at the post, just clear my notifications.

So a while ago I discovered that you can watch a forum and get an alert anytime a new message is posted on it (so you don't have to watch every thread). So I did that for the forums I'm watching. Now, with new meta, I'm not able to do that? I haven't tried any other forums currently, so I don't know if this is a general problem or just a meta problem. I'm using chrome on mobile, haven't checked desktop yet. Edit: it worked in TCHGB, so I think it's just a TSM problem
There's a bug with the subaccounts feature that allows people to post in forums they're banned from. They just need to be logged in with a subaccount and post as their main. Of course, there's not much actual use for that, but it's still interesting.
Yeah, the subaccount feature is basically impossible to fix. I guess I can go ban subaccounts from all the forums or something.
Should you ever decide to do it despite the effort thing here's an important data point to consider: at least for the RP subs it may be impossible to be able to edit posts and that would only be possible if you can see the post while logged in from the sub, soooooo at least IGT would need to be exempt from this mass ban to not case frustrated yelling.
Would like to request an exception. I asked to be banned from FID and TCGB way back when for my own mental health, but I use Striped Stocking to look at the forums when i feel up to it.
