Though so far, it doesn't matter what the status says, a gay or lesbian character will refuse any and all physical contact from you. At least in my games. The one exception might be the head pat.

I think the game has a hard time differentiating between simple like and love? Or if you get enough like/friendly points, it just starts to spill over into love points?
