@emythos that shade of purple looks rad! I am kinda sad i could only pull it off while wearing a less offensively colored wig because while I can play with clashing colors bright orange and bright purple are a bit much :P But you look gr9 with it!

 

Thank you!!! It's Twisted from the Nyx High Voltage lippies, and so far it's really really great, isn't bleeding or anything, and it leaves this perfect berry stain when it wears away :D

I think I need to buy a shitload of NYX lipsticks whenever I figure out how to get the more interesting series over here. might be some of the ingredients are illegal-for-cosmetics in the EU because I already know of at least one line of nyx lipsticks that was never released over here :/

My personal, SHOULD ABSOLUTELY GET SOMETHING FROM recs for the collections are: the macaroon lippies (cute colors, so cute. formula can be meh, but colors make up for it), the butter lipsticks (so comfy, good for days when you want a not so high maintenance lipstick, also will survive going through the wash accidentally! i got the lollie one and it is now my favorite/only nude lipstick.) and the high voltage lipsticks (packaging sucks, actual lipsticks are wonderful. darkest few will bleed a little, so lip liner with those, but otherwise a+. get the purples. such good purples. best purple lipsticks I have ever owned.)

 

ooookay mission statement for tomorrow is walk into a higher-ish end cosmetics chain store around here and ask for three lines of nyx lipsticks they do not have on their website (wicked lippies, high voltage and macaron lippies) and ask if that has a reason and if not if they could order the stuff for me.
Also decide whether paying twenty bucks for a dark blue mac lipstick is worth it (yes, yes it is) and getting that one if I won't end up buying literally 14 different nyx lipsticks because what in the hell is restraint.
(I might drop the wicked lippies because I just saw they had glitter pgments in the formula and I am mildly :/ on glitter lipsticks (I prefer my lips to be powder matte or high-shine glossy not anything weird inbetween :P) and the macaron lippies have a much cuter grey shade in their line anyway...)
... actually going over my list again I think narrowing it down to one high voltage lippy and literally half the macaron line is better, so more like 8 lipsticks. and the matte royal one by mac because it is a gorgeous blue.

 

The wicked lippies are very very glittery (I have two of them, and they're nice colors, but are the blue is sorta bleedy, both can be patchy, and generally fussy.)

I've used that Mac lipstick! Not on myself, but I helped out doing make-up for an opera a little while ago and that was the colour we used for three characters. It's an amazing shade.
