Spoiler: stuck together i find it interesting aquamarine is disgusted even with same gem fusions. she makes a disparaging comment about "you fusions" to topaz and topaz and it makes me wonder if its a controversial thing rather than something regarded with unanimous hatred? a lot of the grunt types use it like its natural and the higher class gems tend to think its weird and unnatural (maybe because theyre possibly more unique from each other instead of cut and paste?). so i'm thinking it might not necessarily be that garnets thing is two different types of gem fusing but rather that a higher gem fused with a working class gem like a ruby. scandalous!

I think. I think cartoon network is trying to very speedily finish a contract obligation. I kinda hope season five was the planned final season because im afraid for their chances of contract renewal and dont want another disappointing end like teen titans just when it was getting great
...I feel like Teen Titans is kind of a weird case. Like. It had its first four seasons - which ended on a finale note if ever I saw it, even with a three parter literally titled THE END, then... got renewed? and then had various plot threads introduced that then never got followed up on because it didn't get a season 6. I really do wonder how that shook out.
