Hmmmm, unless SCA was the most advanced/open minded magic school in the world by far, I don't think anything muggle would be a huge component. Muggle history might get a week or two towards the end of the semester, and those classes you mentioned might have limited allusions to science, but not much super up to date except what muggleborns bring in? But math and language arts are things you need at least a basic understanding of with or without magic, although magic could certainly make them easier, because wizards still need to make change, build houses, write essays, create literature, ect. Maybe not all years, but there might be a math/language comprehension test?

Also, wizarding art classes would b the raddest

 

Well how much we put in can be open, I was just giving examples/ways stuff could be included in and also be relevant to existing subjects. Instead of stacking muggle subjects on top.

Also we were kinda talking about american wizardry being more open minded in the original thread so...

I think I´m at a disadvantage because american vs german vs british schooling.

 

i actually don't remember anything about high school, so i'm also pulling from college

what are some differences you've noticed?

 

German school very much has "These are your lessons, you´re taking them in this order, it´s the same for everyone." the vast majority of the time. Electives are all about choosing between languages to learn or which religion class you take. (Religion at least in my school was required. I know there was a law about replacing with an ethics class but idk how that shook out).
So it´s more like hogmarts is at first. Once they get to year three and get to pick subject to drop and add it diverges again, you cannot drop subject in german school until the very end.

 

i wasn't allowed electives really till sophomore or junior, though i had some control in the order of health x phys ed
and then it was usually 1-2 electives a year

 

Well, consider that we are at a nexus of different dimensions
There could be comparative physics courses either integrated into that which we already have or stand alone, because stuff works differently here than there and this magic works this way here and that way there and isn't that neat?

Sorry. I just had an idea for an interdimensional exchange student.

 

i mean, it's a cool extension, and an inter-dimensional exchange student would fit into canon :D
