i got my blue roses from a friend. i tried, unsuccessfully, for nearly 2 years to grow them. instead, i got a vast amount of purple, orange, and black ones...

also i just decided, if i hack my game i'm going to move the campground somewhere else.

i've got my central bridge back

now onto hacking my town a lil bit to make it a bit easier to work with.

ETA:

So while I was prepping my town for, uh, slight modifications, I noticed that I don't have 5 rocks. I have 8. One below my 3rd characters house, one to the right of it, one next to the plaza, one south of the train station, one halfways between the train station and the cliffs, and three around my bamboo area.

I will keep the one south of my 3rd characters home, the one halfways between train station and cliff, and probably a specific one of the ones in my bamboo. The other 5 will get (re)moved, and I cleared 3 areas to put them instead. Puts me at 6 rocks, but I might go down to 5.

ETA2: For a town called Prospit there's a hell of a lot of purple flowers. Wonder if I should go all-yellow. Hm.

 

Maybe yellow and white :Oc for accent purposes

 

i wanted to provide ya'll with a new version of dream!prospit, but it wants me to do a system update.
a system update would kill the exploit i'm using to hack the game, so nope. gonna see if i can circumvent it.

but my stuff is moved, i need to grow some more orange roses, white violets, and assorted carnations but apart from that the town is pretty finished. moved all gyroids to the museum, so my 3rd char's home has the central homestuck room i'd been planning for it for years. my main house got redecorated a bit since i made some items that would've taken interactions with people i don't know to get, and haggling with them; as well as some silver axes i direly need...

most of the hacks are really invisible unless you know what the town looked like before. moved some rocks, but i have the minimum rocks in a legal setup. two very visible parts are two pwps that are at a corner. if you've seen my town before, also the positions of campground, café, and police station. moved some villager houses around to look neater. the whole town looks neater now that the rocks that were in the way are gone/moved.

i removed the purple violets from the residential area to see what it looks like, but in combination with the white violets lining the paths, i'm not happy.
i might generate gold roses in their place, or other yellow flowers. the houses give some additional colours because they're surrounded by of hybrids.

... might borrow a friend's 3ds to update the dream town xxD

 

Of course there's a console version workaround. Only if you're not on 11.4 tho. I'm on 11.2, so...

Your town was Derse, right? I know someone on my FL had the Derse to my Prospit. Fucking Homestuck nerds in here. But imagine one of the villagers moving to that other town. Someone from Prospit living in Derse or vice versa.

We also need a Skaia.

...i have to admit i havent played in a bit over a month, although i now have the ability to have as many towns as i want due to savefile shenaniganry.

the train service to prospit is interrupted, there's clouds on the rails.

 

I only recently picked it back up, and that's mostly because I just found where my 3DS is.
How is the train service from Prospit? Could you come to my town?

 

Also I need to wait a few days to make sure I get the full value of my old town back

 

Another question: how are you doing the save hacking?

 

Okay, preparing Blueleaf for selling.

 

With the soundhaxx homebrew launcher. My 3ds is running on 11.2.0.35E because I haven't updated in a while, and then I saw that soundhaxx was an easy-to-use homebrew entry point. The savefile-hacker is included, and I just have to pull out the file, upload it to an online editor, edit to my heart's content, and inject back in as needed.

I'm currently neck-deep in story of seasons, but i'll check where i left off ::3 (i always timetravel back to where i left off and catch up so i don't lose villagers / new villagers don't put themselves on stupid places on my map)

 

Ah, okay. I'm going to basically just be selling off all my earthly possessions and time-traveling to when I have the requirements to sell it
