Spoiler i wanna know too! and how they got together! and something i realized is that every time a poly fusion like her gets a new member, if the member is not the same gem type as any of the others contained already, the poly fusion changes gem type. and losing and interchanging and adding new gems in a poly fusion. like the ship of theseus, as gems get shattered or decide to leave and decide to join but enough stay each time to keep a thread of history going throughout the ages. like, i don't think that's happened to fluorite but it does seem like something that could happen with one of them.
Spoiler: oh man that's honestly really cool to consider DAMN. also like, I so very badly want to know how Fluorite got together cause--three of those gems look like the same Gem type and part of me is like "what if they were together as a poly triad and then they met one of the others or the others were already together and they met the triangle Gem triad" and stuff and AAAAAAAAAAAAA I must know! also now I want to write....something about a poly fusion. idk what. just. something.

Spoiler: wanted speculation consider: the mural has rose quartz holding up a pink diamond which defends against white diamond's attack if rose got PD's gem and then used it in such a way that WD had to shatter it to defeat her defense, this would fulfill both the 'only a diamond can damage another diamond' mohs scale theory and therefore the 'A Diamond Did It' theory, while also allowing for 'it was a staged production between PD and rose quartz' eta: this also means that, in effect, rose quartz did shatter pink diamond in the eyes of, say, yellow diamond, who would be loathe to blame her sister for being backed into a corner
Spoiler but chronologically, when would that happen relative to the events described in the episode and why would the diamonds think rose used a sword to shatter her if that was the case?
Can I just say I love everyone in this bar. I mean. I've said it before, but - gods. Spoiler: off-colours (ALSO. ALSO there was a part of me SO HAPPY to see Rutile! I thought that was obvious that we were meant to think that poor Zircon was pointing at Yellow and Blue Pearl, not the Diamonds, for a bare instant? And yes, it seems almost stated at this point that our Pearl was WD's once upon a time. (Isn't White as a hue technically made of up of all the other colours?) I have nothing left after all that. All the Off Colors are cinnamon rolls, to be fair, but Padparadscha is SO FUCKING ADORABLE. Also I ADORE Defense Zircon. What a badass. Like, seriously, she is AWESOME and I hope she ends up safe.

Spoiler I was expecting Steven to have Lion make a portal back to Homeworld to grab Lars? Since he was able to get to the moon that way. Homeworld is a lot further, but warp pads still seem able to connect with it.
