After missing some application deadlines and not finding the job listings for others, I copied all current job listings I can reasonably apply to to a spreadsheet organizing where I found the listing, when the deadline is, and whether it's email/snail mail.
Cleaned off the counter, swept and mopped, fixed up the recycling and cleared out old boxes from the last couple months, managed to do all the loads of dishes that needed to be done, and did laundry.
figured out how to connect the printer to my computer! which was a fussy nonsense task and I am not happy with the brand right now for all the things it tried to sell me in the process, but it appears to work now
Got a GI appt sooner than November! Also found out that the lansoprazole is okay for me not to take. About to go out and get our car battery tested and probably replaced.
Contacted everyone who had expressed interest in my baby snails and confirmed whether they wanted them or not.
Got dressed and reasonably clean and made a food with protein and a vegetable. Need to achieve laundry and dishes
Finally replied to an email about meeting up with my old Japanese teacher for coffee to catch up. I'm slowly inching towards vaguely responsible!
Among other things, I entered the alternate dimension that is a half-disused mall and escaped. I was joking about having cleared the dungeon and gotten cheap furniture as loot.
Okay, but have you ever been in a mall that had been hit by a natural disaster a few months before and was still completely wrecked with some part of it being rebuilt while you're there but with some stores still somehow being open? Because that is surreal.
