Reproduction is... certainly possible, albeit at a much reduced rate compared to Nova-era records. Which doesn't say good things about the survival of our species if the war drags on much longer, but, well. Not my problem now, is it? And 'gods' is a terribly vague word anyway. If this place works anything like the Well, many things that are not possible in the physical universe are possible here.

It... does seem a bit odd to taunt someone who is equally capable of universe altering. Perhaps more capable, if your, er, 'Primes' aren't as able to shift reality like Norm is. From what I understand, a genie might as well be more powerful than a god in many cases.

 

My species, Citizens, proved millennia ago that there are no gods.

 

Well, yes. That's rather the problem. Somehow Cybertron puts sparks up into a specialized metal able to be manipulated by the unformed spirits, but where the sparks come from or how to manufacture sentio metallico... Once a spark is enframed it is, of course, possible to... shall we say extract some of that energy, and encourage it to grow into a new spark entirely, but that doesn't help us get new donors at all. Didn't. Mm.

Development of the protoform is, of course, much more well-documented, but religious reservations made investigation of hot spots-- the places sparks emerge from Cybertron-- rather... taboo. And then they stopped appearing entirely, so, well, there's that avenue of research gone.

I didn't say you were? I just find, in general, the idea of taunting you or others with nebulous, world-ending powers because of your expressions of moral character a bit, well, stupid.

I mean, that fact that you won't destroy the universe as we know it is a sign that you think that some things ought to be fair and right, and that includes the fact that our wants and needs are as necessary as yours. Planting the seed of 'fuck everyone, got mine' back doesn't seem particularly smart to me, that in mind.

Honestly, it's a bit like when all those stuffy nobles kept calling me a knife-ear to my face. I had an army. Three, technically, by that point. What was even the point of taunting me like that?
