Welcome aboard! I've said a... significant amount of unkind and/or uncharitable things to and about you in the past (that I think you've probably mostly seen), and just for the record, in retrospect, I really, really do regret how harsh I was with a lot of that. And even in light of the recent kerfuffle, I cool off insanely fast, and I'm not at all fussed to see you around. It's great to hear your life is going well, and I hope things are doing okay with you and your friends (I didn't want to shove my nose in to check and cause even more distress :P). And also no pressure at all for you to interact with me on here in any way, you have plenty of reasons to be stressed by me and I'm easy, so any degree of interaction/non-interaction can ride entirely on what you're comfortable with. (ages late edit: rather, I've plain been an asshole in a lot of ways that were completely unnecessary, and I do really apologize for that. I've been thinking about the ways I justified it to myself with 'but it's okay here because--' and I'm going to try hard to avoid that in the future) But again, welcome! I hope you enjoy the site.
Wow, I'm glad to hear you're really doing a lot better now! Shark story: one time I was an aquarium and they have a place where you can touch the stingrays (well you could try at least. the stingrays are stubborn bastards) and there was also a shark in the tank. You weren't really supposed to pet the shark bc apparently lots of pets aren't good for him. But he kept swimming by and against our hands bc dammit he wanted the pets like a little sea puppy!
hmmm well I've seen a couple sharks while I was out surfing personally? mantas were more common around where I was! but my dad defs ran into a few sharks, they just kinda bonped him and swam off without taking a bite
yeah, only sharks that eat seals or turtles or the like are interested in taking bites out of humans, and only then because that's their only way of seeing if this four-appendaged thing without a fishy/cetaceany tail is a weird seal or not is to bite it. then they go, "this tastes terrible" and leave. that's actually why so many shark attacks are on surfers especially-from below a surfer lying on their board, paddling, looks a lot like a turtle, or a seal.
Also the most sensitive part of a shark is their mouth, so sharks tend to investigate things with their mouth the way we tend to investigate things with our hands! A shark might not even be trying to eat someone they bite- just going "wtf is this?" but their mouth happens to be full of giant fuck-off teeth. Heya Rigel! Grats on college! I'm not a Transformers person because I don't feel like fighting my robo face blindness but I really like seeing people enthusiastic about stuff and a bunch of my friends here are TF fans and I like listening to meta and screeing about characters even if I can't keep them straight.

I got to pet manta rays (but no sharks, sadly) once and I loved it a whole lot. I was on a fair amount of cold meds and it was my birthday, and I was thrilled to learn that mantas are related to sharks
Pretty sure I am also a lover of robots 'cause of you, if indirectly i think in my case. xP If you wanna talk 'bout robots or rp robot ocs or some shit i'm always game and pretty damn unconcerned about past shizzle just hit me up i'm afraid i don't know much about sharks. xP
