gonna make a god mode patch just soes i can test things without worrying about losing

 

keep finding dummied references to a thing thats not in the game. think it must either be the last thing they cut or something they used as a test/demo

 

tfw you find dialogue thats cut and talking about something that doesnt happen in the game anymore and its gr9

found out a boss had a super move id never seen because hes a loser

 

found a bunch of unused animal noises in a sound folder

guess now i could make doors sound like sheep if i wanted

emulator crashed when i was running around in god mode

hoping its the emulators fault and i didn't break anything

The funny thing I forgot to mention is the last week I has been "fixing" a bad bit of code - I removed 30 functions that were never called and 150+ variables (most global!) that was never referenced. Then I yanked a function that was nevr directly referenced - some twit had used an index into a class's vtable to acess the functions! It broke badly. Compiled just fine - crashed with spectacular results on running.

So I, coincidentally, got involved in a similar project, and I would like to say I am very much understanding this feeling right now.
