Oh hmm, good question. I am from Polyhex so that was always 'home', but I think if we exclude that one I think Altihex. They used to do a lot of deepspace research there, it was interesting. Plus lots of shuttles, so I didn't tower over quite so many people [He smiles, clearly a little fond of the memory]

 

Yeah, sure, we had one whole observatory fuelled by half a mining complex, great use of resources. [Look, it's a tiny grump medic! His purple badge is just visible behind his crossed arms.]

To nobody's surprise, they did not actually tell people about this if you were only stopping by to bring in parts and materials [Hey 'grumpy medic' is really the normal state of things for medics] Archive just wanted to know which city I liked best on my tours because I think we all can agree that everywhere on Cybertron was sort of awful at the time unless you happened to be a towerling.

I don't think Cybertron treated its miners very well. Mining is a very respectable job on Caminus. It- well, if you're not working one of the major seams and are spread out trying to find other patches that haven't run dry, there's only so much protection the Way can offer, and it's hard work, but it's important. Everyone does it. I was a miner before I joined the Way.

 

[He's not sure why Ignis is uncomfortable but that's clearly not acceptable in any ways and he set back to petting him as a distraction, trying to figure out how to ask if he's ok without actually asking out loud if he's ok. He really needs to find out if comm lines are a thing for dead people. Then again, considering that scanner is right here.... maybe no comm lines]

 

Is it really so pretty from the air? I guess we were pretty close to Iacon, but...

I couldn't tell you how it looks now, but yeah in overflight it used to be fairly pretty compared to the rest? But less 'hey look how much money we have' than Iacon. That always had me feel like I should have showered twice before even getting near it. Plus dreams of getting off-planet. [Which admittedly, he did, eventually, in a way and length of time he had decidedly not wished for]

[He's trying very hard not to pay attention to that because Must! Protect! Split!! which would both be useless in here and upsetting/unwanted for Scanner. So. He's not doing what he wants to do and hug the smaller mech and tell him that everything will be alright.]
