Game 27 is the best thing ever. It's such a shitshow.

 

First time I clicked a link I went "oh, it's one of those things" and bounced off.

But it looks like this is going to be a frequent topic of discussion for at least some of the people I follow, so I grudgingly gave it another try to avoid falling into "I hate this thing I have never read because my dash won't stop talking about it".

And I have a soft spot for AIs exploring their newfound consciousness, so that's one grudgingly awarded point in its favour.

But I definitely don't care about it enough to stay current for fear of spoilers or anything.

 

I just binged everything that exists of 17776 so far and I am delighted by it.

Also I am at best Homestuck-adjacent, so Juice just made me think of Homestuck and not a specific character. I headcanon he read it and liked it, TBH.

I bounced off the concept because I have -48 interest in football, decided "fuck it" and checked it out, got hit with the emotional opening and now I'm hooked.

Ahhhhhhhh I loved today's bit so much. With the experimentation with type design? The way he's been messing with GIFs and embedded video I was half-expecting something like this all along and now it's happened and I'm sooooo happy. Just, like, the graphic designer in my heart is making little pleased noises.

I yelled inside when I saw this tbh

 

I wasn't sold at first, especially when the football talk started, but GOD DAMN am I here now. I think the reason Juice reminds me so much of Dave is because of the rambling and incredibly detailed way they talk. Like, Dave was usually carried away in some extended metaphor; Juice is usually talking about what he's talking about, but the rambling specificity is what makes them seem so similar to me.

The whole thing also makes me very sad. The whole idea that this is it, this utter stagnation. And people aren't really unhappy, and maybe on some level life centered around play isn't the worst. But it freaks me out HARD on an existential level.

 

It's mostly just really infuriating for me. That's just not the way all humans actually work.
Don't ask me to elaborate I just wanted to scream about that
