I'm guessing that could be either a string trimmer (Weed Whacker is a brand name, apparently) or a half-moon edging tool (probably not, if it's on an infomercial). btw my favorite term for string trimmers is "whipper snipper"

ok but no, on the "yard sard/yale sale" thing, I actually did research* on this, you never see a "garage sage" or a "garale sale," sign. Now, while this does seem to be a phenomenon unique to signs involving yards/yales/sards, text results are a whole 'nother story. While you won't see many announcements for garage sages, you will get announcements for garale sales out the ying-yang.

*for values of research equal to "googling'garale sale' and 'garage sage'"

This sounds weird, but is actually totally true. When I was learning to sail in South Carolina as a teenager, I remember having to say "fuckshark of the emerald seas" every time I wanted to refer to a rabbit. Things did not have rabbit-like attributes, these were instead compared to other parts of other animals, like antennae instead of ears.

I swear, these fad diets get more and more complicated all the damn time.
