Spoiler: don't worry, she's a doctor Theodora "Teddy" Slaine is the healer every completely bugfuck crazy bodyhorror nightmare child needs. She spends her time sighing exasperatedly as she sews up Flannery's wounds, giggling adorably when she finds a new set of delightfully archaic medical instruments to restore to working order and regularly skins people for funsies. Flan and her really deserve each other's what I'm saying.
the stupid thing is she was originally a literal stuffed bear with a nurse hat, that's where her name comes from. In my steampunk grim-reapers-hunt-lost-souls verse where I originally wanted toput Flan but Flan started breaking the rules of the universe's supernatural stuff so Flan gets their own thing where they can break things :P
