I think 'drugs are risky' in the most accurate one-sentence-line you can make about them, ideally followed up by proper explanations, though I think that you cannot account for everyone even that way, especially considering the amount of things people can abuse thought at least for mechanical lifeforms there is less variety in effect and dosage than for organics so it is easier to make sweeping statements for us and be right which doesn't make cross-species conversation on the topic any easier.

 

That sounds like the usual penance, yes. I admit I havn't been in the position often, getting overcharged when everyone else is much smaller tends to be risky.

I think barging with "oh, by the way, Church, don't take advice from the guy you're already not fucking taking advice from" counts as mixing as the conversational streams. And fucking segueing from that to "oh, don't do the copying thing either, it's fucking stupid" confuses the issue even more. Especially since I'm pretty sure I said I fucking regretted the copying thing, which had already fucking happened. So just he ended up sounding like a fucking idiot.

I think applying a moral weight-- good or bad-- to them is a losing battle. They simply are, and I'd rather assess the risks and rewards of them as they are than try and give some sweeping statement to their character. Would you like a treatise on the social stratification of the A'krr'i?
