i have now finished all of the routes except for mat and joseph's! & as far as difficulty of minigames goes, the one in the first brian date is killer @.@
I have finished everyone and I have a sizable fondness for most of them. Joseph is a very eh dude and Brian's route gives me the anger but everything else is so precious. I love these sweet boys. I love my beautiful daughter. I don't know if I can ever bring myself to do her bad end. I wish I could like friendship level three everyone cause man all these souls deserve happiness. And I wish I could have more input on my dad's personality but overall it's such a nice game I can't be too mad at it.
Spoiler: brian route spoilers the brian route is my least favorite thus far (haven't finished mat or joseph's) because like. basically the player dad is just sorta an ass bc of insecurity and i dont really enjoy that much. also then the date 3 ferris wheel moment where player dad and brian are honest with each other was cute! but like. i feel like date 3 establishes that player dad & brian are friends... i feel like a 4th date would help to move them from friends to a relationship. as it is it just felt kinda rushed to me, and i normally love rivals to lovers...
I actually really like the PC being his own distinct character, because it lets me think of him as a character and not a self-insert, but augh Brian's route can be so frustrating. Let me be nice to him! Why am I such a dick! Please!
I feel that most of the pathways would be improved with just one more date night. Like, you hit friendship level 3 and then move to the next level, would improve the pacing for some of the relationships, but it's a tiny thing. Games still great ,I love it so much
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more content via DLC. Overall gripes are very minor (would like more options for the dad creator, even if I have to unlock them via play throughs or mini game scores or what have you, Joseph flag bug needs a patch) and the writing is solid. This was a great game and I'm happy I spent money on it.
for anyone who wants to know Spoiler: Pokemon Minigame the way i won was to: brag until i got to 15 HP and brian was at 30 HP use item: child art [gets you 15 and 20 respectively] continue bragging until you win specifically: brag 4x item: child art brag 3x

Just did Craig's route. Bro. This game is just. So important. All of the dads feel so real and like people. They all have issues, but their arcs aren't about the pc coming in and Magically Fixing Everything. Hell, even player!dad has character flaws and not-Amanda-related problems.
