I still love that vine with "the good cush" (and wonder how many Nic Cage clones have escaped into the world).
Same >.< and it's lowkey upsetting to me that it feels like a minefield. I like looking thru the tag or search bc it's easy peasy, instead of following a thousand blogs that may or may not post the content i like frequently enough that following doesn't add too much to my dash. If that makes sense. Maybe I'll just have to turn to twitter even tho it kinda of overwhelms me & feels like a cluttered way to get content... /pointless bitching sry lol
speaking of the hugo route: Spoiler: hugo date 3 spoilers "See you in class, bitch." was an absolutely incredible line, holy fucking shit. probably my favorite quote from the entire game tbh
I go into character tags I like for content. There's a lot of discourse but. Yeah there's a lot of discourse.
Someone found, in some of the datamined files, an ending where Hugo and Damien end up dating! No idea how to activate it or if it's even properly implimented, but the whole thing is pretty adorable. I can't find the post with the actual script right now, but it's floating around on tumblr.
@KingStarscream woah, I had no idea about that... I want any more info that can be obtained on it. Honestly I didn't know about that at all? That's beautiful.
i have now gotten all 7 good endings! damien is still my fave tho <3 ...okay, wait Spoiler: credits there's a "whittling minigame" listed in the credits. but i've never come across it. is it even implemented/actually discoverable in the current game?
Spoiler: depressing fandom wank im sorely tempted to get a good pic of a crabbucket and reblog all the BUT TEH GENDERBENDS R TRANSPHOBIC posts with that as the reaction image there are people speculating on whether the artist of the infamous fanart is "really" a poc or "faking" and thus "deserve" all the hate they've gotten because tumblr is full of angry assholes completely lacking any concept of healthy coping mechanisms to upsetting content in better news it turns out Knife Dad is less...Bad Boy (tm) than he originally seemed so i may actually wind up warming up to him when i finally get around to his playthrough
Robert absolutely broke my heart (in a good way!) and I ended up liking him way more than I did. And here I was going to save him for one of the last ones too.
I love the game so much, but I feel like it's a bit too short? You go on three dates and then it jumps to the epilogue. I was hoping that there'd be a chapter after you'd gotten into a serious relationship with one of them.
I feel like that's a common issue with visual novels/sim games of this type. For a lot of people, the excitement is the characters building up to a relationship/sex/whatever, not what comes after it. Which is understandable, there's a lot of interest and conflict and potential and tension and anticipation for those kinds of situations! But I often want more out of them too. Show me something more of these chars beyond the initial "hey I like you" bits!
I guess that I assuming that since they are all dads, we'd be dealing with family issues, like dealing with their kids and other ongoing problems that aren't solved when to adults start getting serious.
I'm hoping we get DLC to go beyond that... I would really adore some post-relationship DLC with the characters to flesh out how the family relationships go after. Holidays with ur dad of choice + their kid(s). Stuff like that. I recently played a SUPER short dating sim (Rose of Winter) so for dream daddy I was like 'oh nice! three whole dates! with minigames!'
Real talk tho Spoiler: Hugo route ending where is Dutches in the Hugo route, I need to spoil my shouty son with a pupper.
