I do have one other swap idea that I've considered, and that's swapping based on similarities/differences. Swap Karkat and Aradia because shades of red and emotional issues. Swap Equius and Eridan because smug attitudes and horses. Swap Sollux and Terezi because intellect and snark. Swap Feferi and Kanaya because light/dark contrast. Swap Nepeta and Vriska because hunters. Swap Gamzee and Tavros because... big horns..? Okay that one is kinda dumb.

I'm not sure Porrim would be a still living empress. Her ideology seems pretty at odds with doc scratch's work. If she is still living I could see her as an empress whose whole reign has been plagued with unrest and war and more than the average amount of close calls with her potential successors. Doc Scratch mentoring a long line of fuchsia bloods to get things appropriately bloody and vicious for the game.
that was only for Alternia, though. the Beforan trolls did the Scratch, and then Alternia gained Doc Scratch as a First Guardian, and he artificially introduced some things to Alternia to make the trolls more bloodthirsty and prepared for SGRUB.
bloodswap alternia is always a tossup whether you wanna include glubglub or not tho i avoid the issue altogether by only doing beforan bloodswaps
OH sorry was confused ....I dunno. I think there's a lot of ways you could go with that. Empress Porrim doesn't have to be an empress whose reign is marked by unrest--you could make dancestor Porrim be more similar to Meenah in ideology, or you could alter Empress Porrim, because I honestly don't think it's too much of a stretch to say that the dancestors growing up on Alternia instead of Beforus could result in some personality and ideology alteration. Meenah as the Condesce doesn't seem to change all that much, but I'm not sure that I could say the same for what we know of, like, Latula and Redglare. admittedly we don't know a lot about Redglare or Latula, but I think it's possible that some of the dancestors would grow up to be very different people in Alternia than they would've in Beforus. at the same time, it could be interesting to have Empress Porrim still be focused on gender equality, and also probably caste equality, and see where that goes? tbth I don't really do a lot of bloodswaps because I like Alternian bloodswaps but configuring all the ancestors and the societal changes and rule changes and ancestor titles takes Thought I think I have maybe one fully considered bloodswap with Nepeta Vantas and Vriska Peixes.
I just remembered that we had Tyrian Captors and while I got Sollux pretty fleshed out, I never did really come up with wtf Mituna's deal would be. Thing about Captors is, they might be assholes, but they're stupid self sacrificing martyrs too.
tyrian mituna alternia i had as a post apocalyptic thing (while tyrian sollux was active apocalypse) its technically emperor-less but since society was destroyed and nothing is left except a tiny percent of the population no one really gave a shit this was nonsburb (and therefore non glubglub) bc it was easier
