Yeah, I don't see where she's trying to enforce rules, sorry it read that way but she's just like, dude, this is our party, we gave you drinks and food, don't fuck it up.

 

The "This is our party" read like it to me. Like she was extending her household there because her people were there. Which she has no right to because the rave is neutral space. that and her whole mom voice thing, to me read as her just deciding she has the authority to make rules. Bringing food into the rave doesn´t make it hers. Nor does it make her Connors parent. Bats would have a better chance at that than her and he doesn´t have much.

 

if church wasn't in the private bubble right now, he would be laughing so much at their hypocrisy. well either that or mad about it, i'm not sure. maybe both. :P

basically, i am very amused by the irony of it all. :D:D:D

 

fyi church and jack are still in the private bubble, as far as i know, or, at least, i've been writing church as though they are and so church is gonna act as though that didn't happen

 

Why are you arguing with me? I know the rave is neutral space and I don't try to control it. Is she supposed to know she's not allowed to try and mom everyone somehow, or can your character just tell her off if he feels like it? Nothing bad is going to happen to him if he does!

React to her IC however you want.

I totally get how annoying it is to be capital-G good in the rave with people like Jordi and Handsome Jack running around. Valiska's been in the same position Connor's in, and there's a reason she's not in the rave right now.

But please do not interpret what my characters do or say as an attempt to take control of the rave itself, because it's not. If I want to request that people not do something in the rave when I'm around I'll do it OOC and say why.

What hypocrisy? Lissa can't stand Jack because he triggered the shit out of her, not because he kills people, and Jordi also doesn't talk about the people he kills like they're not human because they're "bandits" (which he won't define), and he comes a lot less closer to spouting Beijada Station rhetoric than Jack does. She even said to Jordi that she could tolerate him because of the lack of pornographic detail. You only get one discussion of the way it feels to crush skulls with your boots before she tunes you out because that's dangerous to her mental health. Hit me up on Discord.

And from my brief obsession with circus novels I can tell you that most trapeze brats start out learning ground gymnastic routines anyways becasue you have to really know your body before they can let you fly.
