It got up to at least 101 here in the Santa Cruz Mountains yesterday. Mom says it got as high as 103--I didn't see that (we have a lil weather machine thingy on the deck that transmits weather info to a screen thingy inside, and the highest I personally saw was 101), but I don't doubt it for a second. Worst part is that it was also super still--like, no wind at all--so it was just...hell on earth tbh.
Its supposed to be the same today except worse because 109 its so hot in my room rn and the a/c upstairs is not working for whatever reason basically, im going to be living in my pool today and i wish you all could join me
Was in the high 90s when I was trying to run around. Is now in the high 60s when I is trying to settle down. The same day. Why does this place not know how to regulate temperature? Like can it be gradual change from summer to winter and back, like the rest of the world? Daily seasons is annoying.
It has summer, fall, winter, and spring ALL IN THE SAME F'ing DAY! (is san jose, teh armpit of San Francisco)
I was born and raised in San Jose I stand by what I said. (I mean yeah the Marine layer makes it cold in the mornings and then the sun laser comes for you) ... except for that one time it snowed for 30 seconds. That was weird.
I was born and raised in Georgia - we has summer (is hot and muggy), fall (warm and wet), winter (cool and you can swim in the air), spring (warm and dry - humidity is down to 80%). But we does it over a year, not every day :D
jesus christ if i didn't know better i'd think we lived in different states down here in SoCal 20% humidity is OMG THE AIR HAS TURNED TO WATER SAVE ME IM DROWNING ...which, unfortunately we've had several days of this year
well that explains the freaky humidity lately still not quite as freaky as that one 5 minute snowstorm in june a long while ago
Nights have been cool here since last Thursday (actually chilly over the weekend) while the days have been the usual hot. Tonight is breaking the trend and not cooling much. No water from the skies, though.
Similar here, although since IIRC you don't live super far from me (Silicon Valley, yes?) that's probably a given. :P It's not super warm tonight here, though? And we did get a tiny bit of pseudo-rain here in the mountains the other night. :P
Humidity effin sucks, its been so hot and muggy the past 2 days, and my room, right above the garage, feels hotter than outside
