My name is Kiri and I tolerated 'Carrie' until I was married to an Asian guy and they were miraculously able to sound out this 4 letter 2 syllable name when it was attached to a Chinese surname (it's Japanese) but hadn't been able to manage it before. Racist fucks. btw, black people are always very gracious on the rare occasions I have to correct them.

 

Should be noted that while there are many things which can offend or upset Starscream, organics hitting on him isn´t one. He´s just not into smol squishies.

 

I never thought he was upset. His reaction was hilarious and so was Ford's to realising what he'd actually said to him.

BTW--sometimes, when one of my characters is having a hissy fit--like Alex--or pouting--like Lissa--I'm actually having a really good time and if it isn't funny I'll stop if you say it's not funny.

I'm not always unhappy when my characters are.

And when something that someone does to someone else suddenly affects one of my characters and they're hissing, it's definitely for the lulz, because I chose to let the actions affect my character and I think it will be funny. (This was not true of me last year or even last fall so plz don't use it as proof of hypocrisy, I'm trying to learn stuff from this.) But I'm not really good at writing comedy yet (and when I do, it tends to be black comedy, whereas that was slapstick which is new to me) so if it isn't actually funny I want to know. Obviously that time I failed and I'm sorry for that.

tbh he was not super serious. :D He was unfiltered due to Lissa drugging him out of his depressive death spiral so he just said what he thought when he thought it.

Size matters. though in the rave I suppose one could shrink or grow if they really wanted to.

Jason is almost certainly not legally dead in canon any more given that he's been stuck into Arkham Asylum so there must be some records of him, but, y'know, comics. It's only canon if it's written well enough and it's convenient at the moment.

Also, the manipulation of the rave he's been doing re his mask and body armor is all unconscious - he's just feeling extra defensive because he saw an alien whose job it is to protect the multiverse kill someone because they were out of place dimensionally and he suspects Jordi is one in disguise.
