Yeah. I guess... But that Pennarion still sounds really depressing...

 

Doesn't sound like a very nice place, no. My Cybertron's not a very nice place right now either. Doesn't mean they can't get better, if things come together just right.

I guess, but it looks like the people who made my Pennarion's revolution have been all taken out on that Pennarion. That or most of them stopped giving a shit.

... so, are you saying that you're planning its revolution, or... is there some other reason you wanna be in the shithole?

 

"Think with the head that got you your doctorates!" Stan snaps, and then sighs. "Of course if you had, she'd still be out there murdering her way through the universe, and we wouldn't have Jessie..."

 

"I'm going to Gravity Falls," says Angeth. "Ford and Lissa left to go back there before their now very adult daughter was born, and I've had loads of other jobs since. But it's time we teamed up again."

 

So... alternate Pennarion's screwed then. *sarcastically* Great.

 

"Who even are those people?" Lissa asks, and makes herself another steak. "You want one?"

 

"I haven't been on Pennarion in years," says Angeth. "I'd tell you where I am right now if I was sure I knew who-all was listening here."

... well, okay, your alternates, but... same difference, right?

Ford, Valiska, Getheny, Tainell, Sunshine, Ral...*the last name is said in a way that makes it clear that, though ral did liberate pennarion, that never made norm like him*

Ford looks Stan straight in the eye. "I've never slept with Soos. And I never, ever will. I promise. Even if I wanted to, which I don't, Melody would kill me, Lissa would kill her, and the town would blow up."

 

Doesn't need to be all the same people. Same ideals, maybe! But things don't always have to run the same course.

 

... I guess, but... shouldn't they care, at least?

 

"Those aren't our names. Except for Ford. And I call Angeth Gethenya sometimes," says Lissa. "I don't know anyone named Sunshine. Or Tainell. Ford apparently knew Ral," and with that she giggles a little, "but...I have no actual ties to that planet. I hid out there for a couple of months with Angeth and Ford."

 

What, these iterations? Why? They're their own people with their own influences, biases, lives... Entirely separate from the ones you know. Unless you're trying to make a moral argument with 'should,' but I think I'll stay out of that discussion.

Yeah, okay, those aren't your names, but... you know Valiska's another you. And Angeth sure seems like Getheny.

And you could have been the dream team. You were literally all together, once - well, okay, maybe Sunshine wasn't there - but... you didn't do it. And none of you even care that you didn't. And I just... don't get it.

... but... I don't see different people when I look at them...
