Well, I can't play an instrument, and I can't sing, but I can use a sampled piano and auto-tune my own humming.
That's the great thing about electronics. I can't play anything other than the drums and I think I might be slightly tone-deaf. But my computer has perfect pitch and perfect timing and can make any noise I can figure out how to program.
Hey...I was in a couple of operas last term and I've got a film clip of one of my numbers. Would anyone be interested to see? I'd probably put it up for a limited time only, because I like to share but it's more of myself than I've put on the internet under this handle!

A friend of mine (actually a former prof from when I was in grad school after we got back from China, but I knew him from long before that) plays banjo and folk guitar, and was playing in local clubs in the Cities. But last fall he started doing a Zoom concert each month, there was one yesterday. It's like a house concert, and I never knew anybody before who would invite me to a house concert! I think he's pretty good. He did "Charlie on the MTA" once, a while back, They're Sundays from 3 to 4 Central time . . . if you'd like to listen in, text me your email and I'll forward the announcement.
