Stentato! [oh thank- no actually no deity gets thanking they're apparently all hanging around her and she doesn't wanna thank them for anything right now. Instead she dispels the water enough and opens a path between her walls and pits to let him close] 'm not?

 

Can you take a break from the PDA for like, 10 minutes? Please, dude?

No, it sounds like the exact kind of logic you need to hold on to your own existence in the face of so many branching streams. Too easy to get lost, knowing who all of you is. Pits know it took me a good long while to sort through all of it.

It is something that has befallen an iteration of Megatron for example, and a few others in his service. So it is not without precedent. Besides I would hardly call a being so rebellious and untameable as Galvatron "not people". If he wasn't a person with his own free will he would give me a lot less processor aches.

[Oh. That is much better. He relaxes a little bit, nuzzling against Jetski's collarfaring]

I believe you are under the misconception that I am at all willing to abandon the inevitable end. Powerful agents of destruction in my court is exactly what I want.

He steps in front of Lissa so she can see him head on, and will know that it's him when he puts one hand on her shoulder and lifts her chin with a finger to make her look into his face. (It's a bit concerning that she just lets him do it. He wants her to see that it's him so she won't rip his throat out, but the lack of a hiss, swipe or bite is disturbing as fucking hell.)

"But you're not gonna do the thing her people did." Stan looks at him evenly. "You're gonna do your own thing. Right?"

 

Something else? [She resets her vocalizer a few times] I thought Jetski was a safe person, not... [She gestures vaguely at the curtain that has fortunately appeared around Jetski]

I do not need to copy mortals for the sake of assembling an effective court. As annoying as Galvatron is, I appreciate his bite. He keeps me awake much more than a puppet could.

[He kisses back, deeply, clinging just a little bit. Jetski is his light in endless darkness and he hopes his nature isn't too terribly upsetting to him.]

 

Lissa breathes out slowly. "You did it before." Her voice is flat.

Her eyelashes flick; she acknowledges Ford's touch and presence, she's still in there.

"Thank you," says Lissa. That's almost an emotion a bit like relief.
