I have a question about this though because wouldn't Jordi notice and freak out?

I mean Jordi is scared to death of babies. IDK about Watch Cats but regular cats (and Talassani cattes) are not subtle when they're in season. I mean sapience would probably prevent Watch Cats from shoving their asses in random people's faces, it certainly prevents Talassani from doing that, but even if you're stuck with an unfortunately human nose, most humans would notice their partner being somewhat ditzier, much lazier, and way way way hornier than usual.

Jordi strikes me personally as someone who'd notice something was off and wrap it up. Although I guess that doesn't always work.

I was reminded of this by thinking of cattes in season. If you think Ford (either one of them but especially the one who is into sexual fidelity) didn't buy, build or RE-INVENT a freaking Sybian (do not google this if you're under 18, or if you do you didn't hear it from me), you are sorely mistaken, for lo, he is a mortal man, and lo, cattes are polyandrous for a reason.

 

Megatonus has no intention of scaring Haku, he´s just not very good at mortals in general, nevermind organic ones.

YEAH see part of the problem is two fold:
Jordi assumed Marcus couldn't get pregnant because he's a cat, duh.
Marcus assumed he couldn't get pregnant because he's a cat but also even as a human he had problems with his bits (We're talking had a maximum of one period, got told he'd never have kids, and used this to help get his transition).

The first bit is well, technically Marcus is human. The second bit is that when magic is involved a lot of things get repaired, though notably the wording of the curse has to do with this.

"Clever man and handsome too, you'll be a cat through and through. By day feline, by night a man, you will be forced to follow nature's plan. No longer a thorn in our side, you'll be a cat with kits if luck presides."

(Not like they even noticed in time for anything to be done, and Marcus is unlucky enough to literally have litters. The poor man. His first was four kids.)

PR can probably expound on the second bit but the thing with Jordi and kids is funny because we both decided that he's damn selfish enough and over protective enough of things he likes that he'd be perfectly ok with his own kids.

TL;DR: I love being mean to my characters

Edit: Marcus loves kids, as a note, and after being pissed initially he ends up pretty happy about the situation

 

Also also if anyone wants stuff about that spoilered let me know. In the SPR if he's showing he'll mostly be talking about other things, but he probably won't be showing too much* partially because he doesn't want to be but also because it's a pain.

I'm willing to spoiler him talking about anything related to it if it bothers anyone :x

Yes >:D I knew "slave" (he was originally invented as part of @Eclipse of Apophenia's pre-Revolution backstory), and then a random robot name generator threw "Afterglow" at me, and then a lot of dildo jokes happened and now he's a cold-con sex toy who intentionally paints himself in a gradient of bodily fluid colors because he is nothing if not spiteful and if people are going to make assumptions because of his name he might as well own it :P nevermind that he could have changed his name, shhhh, it is time to Flaunt It

I'm switching back over to male pronouns because that's how Haku identifies, and no one's asked, so there's no point in keeping up pretenses.

Haku's still 15 because there's no adult version of him to go off of (he did come back briefly as a zombie puppet lol, but that's it. Waste of a character imo, but no one asked me.)

Also he and Jason *really* won't get along, considering they cope with their respective abandonment issues in basically opposite ways

 

Yeah, I figure from what I knew of him. And Jason doesn't trust anyone who feels moves like they're trained but tries to look non-threatening.
