Yo Sit! Uh... Jordi? Is how? I mean, I think I called you right after the doctor-- Are you not my Sit?

 

"Are you okay?" Lissa sighs. "Pregnancy can kinda fuck with your self-image, even without the personal complications. And how is Jordi taking it?"

 

Jordi? What the fuck. No I am definitely not your Sitara, but are you ok?

 

*Haku blinks, still looking uncomfortable.* I don't know how I could do that, myself. I guess I don't have much experience.

*For a few moments, he watches Jason and Mirrors shove around with a faint pang of envy.*

*Haku doesn't even blink at the size-shifting. He gets up and moves over with the rest.

They play for a little. It's...nice.*

I'm more than capable of defending myself, if it should come to that. And I'm not a child. *His voice is ice. The transformation is something he's seen no small amount of in his native world, but he takes note of it, anyway, because it's obviously no simple substitution technique.*

"Four?" Lissa swallows. "Four is a lot for anyone. Even back home. You got a vet?"

 

*Haku gives a short duck of his head as a concession to a polite bow* For both of our sakes, I hope I can take you at your word.

 

Yeah, we went to a normal doctor because I was in human shape at the time but I do have a vet who we called and stuff. Or, Jordi said he would. *huff*

... Hugs? Maybe some of that suuuper good sushi from that one place in San Fran since I'm trapped in Chicago with its lack of good sushi.

 

"Yeah, but you're not really human on the inside any more, not if you went into season and had to stop eating plant-based gut bombs! And what if you have them when...."

*Snickers more and eats sushi, because HUNGER even in dreams* Bet the next time you guys see Jordi he's gonna have his boxers in a knot so just warning you. He was freaking out but also kind of weirdly not leaving my side, more than usual.

 

-Jason rolls around with him for a while, enjoying the chance to play around with moves that are too showy for a real fight. He can tell almost immediately that he couldn't beat Mirrors in a fight, but that's okay, because this is just for fun. He starts laughing halfway through; he hasn't had this much fun in a while.-

-he breaks away from Mirrors for a moment to answer her-
