Are u sure... Like I honestly question if ANYONE vets the things the artists draw, because that's just...bad. And now I'm also wondering if he copy and pastes the exact same paint splatter over everything, too...he's so damn lazy, and I hate whenever we have a beautiful Sarah Stone cover and then it's Ramen noodle man on the inside.
I can see it as an attempt to make it look like his face was in shadow for dramatic purposes even though no one else's face was shadowed. But the x's really make me wonder if it wasn't a mistake. Like that door in one phase 1 comic where the window was labeled with a scribbled note to put something nicer there later.

So I was thinking about old homestuck genderbends I remember seeing, as you do, and I remembered particularly some of the strange updated troll names that totally definitely reflected a different gender than the original names. Sollia versus Sollux, stuff like that. I'm short on sleep, so everything is disproportionately funny. But it made me laugh to think of an alternate universe where we might have be getting to know these two wonderful new characters, Anodia... and Lugette

Everyone should read the Revolutionaries comic. It's GI Joe centric with a lot of crossover with other series but the plot is super centric on a mysterious Artifact from Eukaris, what the deal is with Onyx Prime, etc. Blackrock/Sovereign is a major character and actually super likable. Kup is a major character with a human buddy who is hanging out with Ian I think because Ian is totally not connected to the war stuff and it's a way for Kup to break out of his isolation without dealing with stuff that gets too deep for him. The Micronauts talk shit about literally everyone else. It's A+ and a much better blending of series than the big crossover event was.
Oh, awesome! I got surprisingly attached to blackrock before he seemed to poor away. I was braced to hate him, but then I loved him but then he was gone :'C I've lost track of all the series names. I'm guessing searching for 'revolutionaries' will take me to this series, but is there another series title I should be keeping track of these days too? Also where is stardrive to be found? I love her and adore her and need her in my life
