So, I have a problem. That problem is that I love objects heads, and I want to talk about them constantly. I have a few original character object heads and I'd love to talk about them, but I'm also interested to see if anyone else has cool object head characters. They are my favorite aesthetic, and I would love to discuss ideas for completely brand new characters too if you're interested! Right now my favorite OC of mine is a record object head named Wax. Wax is 47 and his body is made of black vinyl, and on his right hand, where his pointer finger should be is a long extended needle. He speaks by placing this needle on his record head which turns, with the grooves magically shifting, allowing him to make sound and words. Because his record can change so easily he is capable of replicating any song, sound or voice, and a part of his magical make up has given him a complete knowledge on every song ever made. It works like any memory, he isn't thinking about every song ever all the time, but when he's asked about a song he can "remember" it and once it's recalled he can play it. He has to skip his needle every time he plays a new song, or changes his voice. Along with his record he also has an audio jack in his right shoulder which allows him to plug into stereo systems and speakers. When he's using a speaker he can switch voices or songs seamlessly. He's a DJ at a club called Black Tape, and when he's working he usually plays electro swing music. He's my dearest son. So, who are some of your favorite object heads?
I dont currently have any object head ocs because im shit at making ocs but i love plant object heads! Especially things like flowers because i love the idea of blooming or wilting to indicate simple moods. Of course theres always the ubiquitous tv heads as well, those are great. The first one i ever saw was the tv head character from the movie fallen leaves and ive loved the concept ever since
I also have a character that has a color changing feature to indicate her moods! It's fun to think about the specific body language they would use and stuff to get emotion across without a face!

Im trying to work on a chrysanthemum object head but its slow going. I think itll be okay in the end, i might post it
i ended up ditching the chrysanthemum, although if anyone wants to see i got as far as lining it? and did a pixelly mushroom head kid for a new ps3 icon. how do you submit to the zine, i dont see a submit box?
