[Afterglow appears in the rave, takes one look around at the carnage-- remains of ice cream, Vosian dance towers, a vaguely-familiar Insecticon hovering protectively over three very familiar Insecticons-- and sits down, sighing.] I suppose we really should have expected this, though why it's only half of them I can't imagine. [He greetingchirps over in @Sprocket's direction.]

 

We've had at least one instance of miscommunication between Alternian trolls and Thunderwing-- if I understand correctly, the two languages are similar but not mutually intelligible enough for in-depth conversation. The bitlets aren't properly speaking much yet anyway, unless they've been more verbal here than while they're awake; they don't understand much in the way of language yet.

[He shrugs, stops to trill quietly when the blue buglet abandons Sprocket to curl up in his lap. Casual scritches are just A Thing now, don't question it.] They're dreaming, who knows? I'm not sure how any of us end up here, but it's proved safe enough.

 

Valiska nods. "They're the first babies I've known to come here without their parents. That weren't created here, of course."

 

They are used to having adventures on their own, as much as any individual is ever on their own; I'm not surprised we have multiple here if even one took it into their head to go wandering in their sleep. More so that it's not all six of them, actually.

Valiska doesn't say anything because Chroma is so easily embarrassed but she really wonders what Static and Clover might say about that. Or if she should tell Chroma later what that really means...?
