@keltka My cat would drink like that until we started always leaving the lid down. You always knew when she'd been drinking from the toilet because she'd race out of the washroom and then start doing the casual grooming routine.

Haku is very pretty and I think I saw Poki in one of the shots, being quiet for once! I wish I knew the paler creamsickle kitty's name, but I don't know if I've seen or heard it anywhere.

I used to have a cat that was so determined to do this that when a roommate of mine decided to keep the lid shut to foil him, he broke the toilet seat.

So. Asterix was at one time a 23 pound cat, before I put him on diabetic food because he got diabetes, which cured him.

Spoiler: sadness

(He later died of either an aneurysm or cardiomyopathy, we're not sure; but it was mercifully quick.)

He was just as much muscle than fat, though, and outweighed several Maine Coons of Size. I'd upload a picture but I'm at work.

Anyhow, how he did this, was that if the toilet lid was closed, he would stand up on his back legs, then push both seat and lid aside with all his weight before jumping up to get his drinkies on. I saw him doing this a couple times and thought little of it until the day the seat broke from repeated stress and flew out from under me when I was attempting to use it.

Also my nana's long term care home has a new cat for her area, idk her name but she is a tortie who my mom describes as moderately floofy. She slept on Nana's feet and also demands treats. What a winner
