Not sure what I'm going to re: power anymore, though, because if I've gotta keep this stuff off my house is 100% without it... and it seems like using tesseracts to get power from other places is just going to run into the same issue.
if it turns out your stuff is what's bogging the server, i'm not sure what to suggest. relocating farther from spawn would be a huge PITA, i know. @seebs, do you have input?
I was actually suspicious that it could be the animals -- like, there may be enough animals in small enough spaces that they're getting stuck trying to path away from each other. Maybe. I know I usually find a ton of time going into flaxbeard's steam power stuff in villages if it's been a day or so of uptime. Past that, looks like a ton of it is villagers, cows, and chickens that are in small places and getting stuck, but the next big thing is usually the place with the farm in it, and also one block of Vega's stuff for no apparent reason.
can someone go to my pet village and remove any flaxbeard stuff that might be still there? i put a chunk loader in the middle of the village just because i kept popping back and forth between there and my house, and villagers would fall through the ground while it was reloading, and then forgot to turn the chunk loader off before logging out because i was having a sensory meltdown. i don't think the villagers themselves are the problem, as they have plenty of room, but they do sometimes all cram into one house like a bunch of idiots.
Uhh is the place with a farm my place? I didn't think I had anything that elaborate, but I do have a bunch of animals in my barn. :/ also an AW2 windmill and waterwheel running some AW2 farms. I'm not sure when I'll have time to get on again (prolly can this week but not sure) but I can cull down to just breeding pairs if that'd help.
No, I'm referring to Hobo's farm area with the huge supply of weird horses and things. I did go in and destroy someone's AW2 tree farm, I think (and put it in a chest) because it was lagging horribly for non-obvious reasons. I think because it was full.

So you know the issue of not finding jungles? I have found one. It is very, very, very far away. BUT It is not a typical jungle biome. My map calls it a eucalyptus forest. (but all the trees are jungle trees) It is not as lush as normal and has much fewer trees. it is pretty big though, but also ages away So i am going to proceed with what my plan was anyway. I found a witchery thing that can make a forest of any tree type, depending on what sapling you use. Thanks to witchery's mutandis, I have jungle saplings So, relatively close to spawn, I am going to make an artificial jungle forest. and I am going to farm some of the trees. So yeah. I have jungle saplings now. Once I have started farming ill have more, and will give some away. :D

Huh, that's odd. I don't see anything particularly bad-looking in the logs, maybe just network hiccups?
