Congratulations, Spock. I've full faith you'll do an excellent job.

 

I should someday try to figure out how to articulate what makes me think "this person would be a good candidate for mod". It's not particularly obvious to me what the criteria are, even though I've picked a handful of people so far, but... I don't know how, really.

 

Level-headed, good stats for questing?

 

Hmm.

Calm or at least capable of temporarily imposing calm, able to recognize situations where it's probably a good idea to recuse self, ability to be ruthless without much desire for being ruthless, level-headed, interesting insights (especially insights I wouldn't have had), able to tell me I'm wrong. Able to interact with people without (visible) judgment or condemnation, even if they're acting in ways you disapprove of or dislike. Durable enough to handle the stress, aware enough of limits to back off when hitting them.

 

Hahaha, let me know if you figure that out, because I'm sure still uncertain how I ended up in the running :V

FWIW, she's now got secret forum access and has thus far not killed anyone so we're pretty happy.
