I finished Hakkon yesterday so I got some really cool looking armor to go into Trespasser with. Looking awesome will comfort me as I struggle with the DLC - they nerfed Knight Enchanter, apparently, and that's what Embriel is. :'D (edit) Oh HECK patch is here for PC! There go my mods. XD Once this p a i n f u l l y slow update is done I'll fire up the game and report on the results.
First things first: PC users using mods, remove your modded patch folder and don't try to merge mods again, the patch isn't compatible and trying to re-merge gives errors. After patching you may need to increment the patch number in your package-mft file by 1 - load a save and try it, first. Second thing: the golden nug works as promised! I synched with Embriel, then I loaded up my first character and synched with her, and am still waiting for the list of schematics acquired to stop scrolling. XD DLC schematics are included in what synchs - so if you got the Vestments of the Dragon Hunter schematic from Hakkon, you now have it in every character who has access to Skyhold. The new clothes are variations on existing stuff, no new textures - two recolors of the pajamas, four recolors of the Halamshiral uniform, two outerwear options that're the vest and scarf that's under some options, with the long leather gloves and tall boots, two outerwear options that are that outfit with the thigh-length coat over it, and two armor options that are the scale armor, with a sash around the waist. They aren't really great, but they're better than beige pajamas, and I rather like the outerwear options that are the leather vest and scarf without the coat. The scale armor also isn't bad, although it looks like a bulky scale dress on elf dudes. :D It looks much better on women. FUCK thus fight with the Hakkons is hard. I'm terrible at the combat in this game... I'm not even at the dragon yet. This "cold meter" is the actual worst ://
The cold meter is such a pain in the ass! The last fight in that fortress is a total headache. Mark of the rift helps a LOT during the first stage, fortunately.
Hakkon is easily the toughest fight in the game!!! I hate the cold meter with a passion I NEVER MANAGED TO GET THE TROPHY FOR LIGHTING ALL THE FIRES I DONT KNOW WHAT IM DOING WRONG And the dragon is SO PRETTY. SO PRETTY!!!! Sharing second place with Hivernal at least, even tho its not as striking as Kaltenzahn (dat coral). I'm... hoping I can recolor those new outfits. There are some pretty.. unfortunate.... color combos.... also: why are the pants still grey.
I didn't check to see if they were tintable, but my guess is no. Which is dumb if so. :/ I'm going to be doing a lot of modding once the tools are updated.
Yeah, the new options are kinda disappointing. But hey, at least no more beige pajamas. I didn't realize you could relight the fires? Like I said. I'm not very good at this game ;-; UGH. It's time to fight the dragon. But first it's time to craft, and give myself guard and health restoring items
People are already datamining the patch, and they found Spoiler: a small and cheerful spoilery thing Wedding dress meshes for all races! And a mesh listed as 'swimsuite'. O_o ...Among other things, but the other things pretty big spoilers so I'm staying shhh about them.
i am sooo tempted to go looking for spoilers, but i'll try to sit on my hands on this one. I'm just worried that I wont be able to play on launch because I dont trust my mad skillz enough to rebuild a $3500 pc after the move and my boyfriend Refuses To Touch It, my computer table will only arrive tomorrow (IF there isnt any delays. this is brazil. delays are par for the course) and its independence day on monday, so no one will come build it for me. If my mom-in-law finds the card of the dude who fixes computers soon he might be able to come tomorrow, but if not, i... i am afraid i will end up venturing into the land of youtube tutorials. my willpower vaule is already pretty low without all these negative modifiers ):
The DLC doesn't come out until Tuesday, and it's usually 4pm PST when the PC version goes live, so there's that?
hmm, 4pm pst is about 20:00 here, I might get someone to come tuesday afternoon, then. definitely less anxious now. I thought it'd be out earlier in the day.
It's kind of 'who knows' with EA, but Descent took until 4pm, so. Since 4pm PST is 2 am for me, I won't be getting it until Wednesday. I probably won't even look at Tumblr or here until I've gotten to play it. XD

SHENANIGANS. But on the other hand, for most of my Quizzie's marriage isn't really something they want? Like it's enough that they're gonna be with their partner. Marriage is not really necessary, and could be a problem for their power. Like basically for any non-human, marrying a human would be a serious dent in their movement if they're trying to do work for their race. Like Josie, Cass, of Cullen marrying a Lavellan would probably be seen as a power grab by the rest of the world, regardless of the actual reality. But I'm probably overthinking it. :P

I think out of all my Bioware OCs, I only have one who actually marries her LI (Mara Hawke and Anders get peasant married because Mara thinks it would mean a lot to Anders since there was no way he could be married in the Circle.) That could be so much fun. I know some people found it annoying, but I liked Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts. But sort of a mix of WEWH and mark of the assassin and the Citadel DLC from ME3? Please???

(My lady Adaar who's in a relationship Josie.) I agree that it'd be fun to go to someone else's wedding, though, especially as a pretense to cover something else.

Idk if they did I think seeing it would legit make me cry, I can't handle Bull when he has actual vulnerable feelings omg. My Lavellan and Solas... Maybe. My Trevelyan and Bull... My Trevelyan might want to just because she wasn't allowed to in the Circle, but she also seems like she wouldn't care either way. I agree, someone else's wedding would be very fun!
