I am having a farcical run of bad luck this week.

My laptop screen doesnt work unless it's plugged in. The company doesn't have any record of the extended insurance plan I bought, and I seem to have left the receipt in my hometown. I was late to training yesterday because I got halfway there and my shoe's sole came halfway off, so I had to go get new shoes. Woke up this am to find my laptop charger had bitten the dust, rendering my laptop unusable, and I have homework to submit digitally. Bought myself a pizza and locked myself out of the apartment in getting it. And now my phone is refusing to charge.

Can this week be over already?

I'm trying to move on from a site I want to leave, and every time I log on I hate myself. I need to find new things to do.

 

Dang. Good for reducing years and years of drama around a post, very bad for following artists who abruptly delete anything they're no longer proud of. Not sure I see the appeal yet.

I was having a rough week. My car broke down twice. I wasn't able to finish studying I had to do for pharmacy. I went to a class out of town, did poorly, got very depressed, locked myself out of my car and thought my keys were missing. I started yelling that I was going to kill myself, the store called the police and I got taken to a "voluntary" mental rehab facility for two days. It was hell. And it started with a string of bad luck and car trouble.

 

Fun fact: I can charge my tower screen with my netbook power cord, but not vice versa.
But now the original tower screen cord arrived (I accidentally sent it along with the tower power cord), and I can charge my netbook while having a screen again.
(My netbook screen finally died on Sunday)

 

Well at least I would get to make a phone call in that case.

(I got a new phone and new shoes. Now to find my warranty rather than shelling out for a new laptop...)

The target near me starting selling nature box snacks and the sweet & smoky bbq twists are pretty good. They taste like actual bbq sauce and not like the fake bbq taste you normally have on chips. I think my problem is the chip flavor is all the sweetness and no spiciness, but the twists are actually spicy.

 

I just woke up from a dream where I had to tell a family that the reason their magical painting wasn’t talking to them anymore, was because she was pregnant.
