....I tried to find the air date for the episode and everywhere keeps saying it aired August 25. ?????
Possible, but you’d think it would’ve leaked if so. I’ve heard “this winter” as the time it airs, so we’ve definitely got a few months, sadly.

I dont think anyone is their target audience at his point. I know a good handful of their supposed target audience and none of them like teen titans go
They only target they have with this schedule is throwing teen titans go at people until they like it.
You'll also notice them trying to sneak in regular teen titans so a wider audience can "appreciate" go better. Its not working.
TTG makes me incredibly angry. But at least they're airing the original cartoon, so people know what it COULD have been. And gumball and ok ko and we bare bears aren't bad, at least. (Poor justice league action though.)
Id honestly give it less shit if it wasnt for the sheer volume its aired on. Its cute but most of it is pandering ad market bullshit and the characters have been stripped down to clownish approximations of themselves
Also sometimes the episodes are just blatantly terrible on every level. I'm still mad about the episode with the theme "speaking your second language less than perfectly makes you a moron, but if you try and do better then no one will like you and you deserve to be shamed with your less than flawless command of idioms." I did like the one with raven and starfire trying to find Silkie though. It made them actually seem like they were friends instead of people who despised each other but lived together out of grim spite. Congrats, TTGO, you finally managed to clear a bar so low it was in the planet's mantle.
To give you some idea of how insufferable TTG is: I once watched it while stoned out of my mind and still didn't laugh. True. Fucking. Story. Also they haven't rerun SU in literal months and I am Angery. (On the plus side, the show IS still in production--they're working on season 7 currently, so it's not like it's going anywhere permanently any time soon--but still.) As for the other shows...I haven't seen much Gumball but I've heard it's cute. We Bare Bears seems pretty cute too, but I've only watched the first two or three episodes, so I dunno much about it (beyond Charlyne Yi, AKA Ruby, voicing a character, and Estelle, AKA Garnet, singing the theme song). Still really need to watch OK KO, since it's made by a SU alum and I've heard good things about it.
