I'm having the most ambivalent reaction to a bathbomb ever, courtesy to lush.
On one Hand: drinking blueb wine in a tub filled with black, sparkling water is #aesthetic AF
On the other Hand: weird greyish slime that makes the surface oddly opaque and feels kinda strange? Not exactly unpleasant but this feels less like a bath and more like establishing dominance by submerging myself in the ichor of my demonic enemies.

Which is still #Aesthetic as fuck but also vaguely EW.

So like if anyone wants to buy a jellybomb i strongly suggest field testing it first. This is /weird/

    Update:
Jellybombs get upgraded from ?? to NO.

The texture was questionable the entire time, but i basically had to shower after getting out of the tub because the slime stuff clings. to. everything. especially hair. Especially pubes. NO. I'm glad that i have a bobcut because anything past shoulderlength would have been swimming in this too.

Additonal NO: clogs up the drain like no tomorrow because again: sticks to hair. So unless your drainw as certified 100% hair free before, you're gonna be faced with a black, glittery blob of bullshit in your drain that won't go away. I just spent 5 minutes with a pair of tweezers fixing it. That's not how i want baths to go, Aesthetic be damned.

Fake edit: there is black bullshit in the tips of my hair anyways. HATE.

Eugh, that’s so grody! Good luck getting all that grossness out. :(

(Also, what’s the name of the bath bomb in question? I wanna ask my parents for a Lush bomb or two as a stocking stuffer, but we don’t have a Lush in my area so they’d have to order online, and I wanna be able to tell them “but please don’t get me this specific one, I’ve heard Bad Things.”)

It was the Dark Arts (also sold as Secret Arts) Jelly bomb.
if you want a nice bathbomb, personally I so far really enjoyed Intergalactic (maximum amount of sparkle. deep blue water, smells minty) and Metamorphosis (grey but water goes strom-cloud-yellow, some glitter. Smells of myrrh and pepper). For bubble bars, I'm VERY happy with using up an entire Sunny Side in one go (have to be crumbled apart under running water for maximum bubbles. Yellow water, loads of glitter, looks like bathing in gold. smells citrusy but not in a window cleaner way)

But basically just avoid the jelly bombs since they all have the slime thingy going.

I think my fave I've gotten there was...fuck, I think it was called Twilight? Made the water kinda pink and purple and smelled super nice!

The best thing about weekends is putting myself into a hot bath with a lush thing that smells like candied lemon peel and feel all of my back relax at once while i absorb the sparkle.
(Shoutout to @KaidaShade for getting me into lush, 10/10)

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I SO wish we had a Lush near here (the nearest one is in the next county, because my county is SHIT), if only for the bath stuff.

I hope you had a lovely bath!

Also I don't Transformers but Speedbird sounds rad and I'd love to hear about them!

Honestly i just mailorder from Lush because the stuff is so good and I need. Means the occasional misstep but tbh most the time it's SO worth it. Just give me all the bathbombs.

As for Speedbird he (?maybe? will think on this yet) def wasn't allowed to do the races because outlier powers but I do want some sort of peripheral involvement. The fire effect would make for a good flare or attention grabber for sure.

That is a sound idea! Maybe I can link my folks to the site and I can get a few bath bombs as a stocking stuffer this Christmas...

Honestly just tell them what sort of bathbomb you want color/smell wise, the descriptions on the site are usually pretty good and havn't led me astray yet, at least not scent-wise.

So, as I have announced, I am a terrible person with too much time on her hands. So I wrote the summary to Updraft's first paper. Because of course I did.

By Updraft o. Polyhex, Iridium o. Prion

For the longest time, it has been a dogma of Cybertronian biology that the integration of organic material into mechanical frames is impossible, at least in the long term. Even small organic samples, under ideal conditions, have been known to only adhere to the original plating for less than one Cybertronian year. It has been theorized that selfrepair might be able to adapt to such intrusions if presented with them long term, but these hypothesis have never been tested before the outbreak of the War.
Now however the authors are able to present a cohesive case study that combines both existing theoretical frameworks for the limits of self repair mechanisms and the possibilities of xenogenetics to allow for long term integration of organic matter in more than 50 percent of the surface plating for upwards of a cybertronian decade. It also delineates the possibilites the further adaption of organic life to mechanic needs, opening up a new venue for medicine under metal-scarce condition as well as furthering our understanding about one of the base and most important functions of our frames.
While this is only a case study and can therefore only serve as a starting point, preliminary results are promising enough to warrant more research.

Honestly I could just... keep going? I have like half the paper in my head already why am I like that.

@Acey i remember us talking about lush products and i feel like you should know that the sexbomb bathbomb both smells amazing and turns the water a prime purplish-pink color.
(Which also pairs fantastic with the melon flavour sparkling wine i got. Pastel Fairy)
